Multi-Region Monitoring

Monitor from US East, US West, Europe, and Asia Pacific simultaneously. Quorum-based alerting reduces false positives — your monitor only goes "Down" if 2+ regions fail.

Maintenance Windows

Schedule planned maintenance and suppress alerts during:

  • Deployments
  • Infrastructure upgrades
  • Database migrations
  • Server restarts

Windows can be one-time or recurring (daily, weekly, monthly).

Extended Data Retention

Pricing FAQs

How is billing calculated?

Pro is billed monthly at $9/month. Your first charge is prorated if you upgrade mid-month.

Can I upgrade anytime?

Yes! Upgrade instantly from Settings → Billing. You'll have immediate access to Pro features.

What happens when I upgrade?

  • Existing monitors continue running uninterrupted
  • Pro limits apply immediately (50 monitors, 30s intervals)
  • You can create more monitors and status pages right away
  • Data retention extends to 365 days (historical data is preserved)

What happens if I downgrade?

If you downgrade from Pro to Free:

Monitors:

  • You keep your monitors but can only have 1
  • Disable or delete excess monitors before downgrading
  • Check intervals revert to 5-minute minimum
  • Multi-region monitors revert to single region

Status Pages:

  • Additional status pages become private (not deleted)
  • Re-enable them if you upgrade again

Data:

  • Data older than 7 days is hidden (not deleted)
  • Historical data reappears if you re-upgrade

Team:

  • Additional team members lose access
  • You can remove them or upgrade again

Is there a free trial for Pro?

All new accounts start on the Free plan. You can evaluate Pingara with 1 monitor before upgrading.

Do you offer non-profit or education discounts?

Contact support@pingara.com with proof of non-profit status or .edu email for special pricing.

Can I pay annually?

Currently only monthly billing is available. Annual billing is on our roadmap.

Do you offer custom enterprise plans?

For >50 monitors or custom SLAs, contact sales@pingara.com.

How to Upgrade

From the Dashboard:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click "Upgrade to Pro"
  3. Enter payment details (Stripe checkout)
  4. Confirm subscription

Your plan upgrades immediately.

From a Monitor:

If you try to create a monitor beyond Free limits, Pingara prompts:

"Your Free plan allows 1 monitor. Upgrade to Pro for 50 monitors?"

Click "Upgrade Now" to start the checkout flow.

Payment & Security

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover)
  • Debit cards
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay (via Stripe)

Security

  • All payments processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1)
  • We never store your full credit card number
  • Automatic fraud detection

Invoices

Pro subscribers receive email invoices automatically. Access past invoices from Settings → Billing → Invoice History.

Subscription Management

Update Payment Method

Settings → Billing → "Update Payment Method"

Cancel Subscription

Settings → Billing → "Cancel Plan"

What happens:

  • Pro access continues until the end of your billing period
  • No refunds for partial months
  • Automatically downgrades to Free at period end

Reactivate Subscription

If you canceled but are still within your paid period, click "Reactivate" in Settings → Billing.
